Summer seasonal homeowner tip:
Two of my favorite summer tips: the perfect interior air conditioning temperature is 75 degrees, and don’t mow your lawn too low or you’ll burn your grass.
What’s your most interesting or unusual client project story?
I currently have a couple I’m working with that loves color, and they’re boldly going for the Cambria Skye color. I’m super excited about it! They have a very Scandinavian theme going on.
Favorite current trend or showroom product:
I am still a huge fan of gold hardware. I love it! So much so that I’m putting it in my own kitchen. It makes such a difference in a space, especially paired with a bold paint color, it looks awesome!

Naomi loves geometric patterns and accents lately, like this Amerock kitchen.

Summer seasonal homeowner tip:
Grill outside as much as you can; watermelon is sticky, after all. It keeps your kitchen nice and clean!
Is there a trend or design practice that drives you crazy?
I never quite know what to say when someone asks, “can I just get a ballpark?” on a potential project. It takes a lot of specifics to start estimating remodeling costs.
What’s your most interesting or unusual client project story?
Anything I say will be held against me… haha
Favorite current trend or showroom product:
I love geometric lines, patterns, and accents. Like this beautiful kitchen from our hardware partner, Amerock’s, website.

Carly’s favorite trend is the subtle texture of crackle tile.

Summer seasonal homeowner tip:
Fertilize – it’s a small thing that makes a big impact with weeds and bugs.
Is there a trend or design practice that drives you crazy?
Furniture vanities or vanities with legs; people forget about cleaning under and around them, and they tend to be pricey.
Favorite current trend or showroom product:
I really like the crackle trend on tile backsplashes. It’s an interesting design element without being too busy against many of the countertops we sell.
