We recently had the pleasure of helping a Minneapolis homeowner personalize the kitchen of her newly purchased home. To turn this space into a true reflection of her lifestyle, she teamed up with our designer, Naomi, to execute a vision that was all about clean, simple, and functional design.

The goals for this refresh were clear: optimize the layout and modernize the finishes. Key updates included:

Smart Relocation: Moving the beverage cooler and shifting the main seating area to improve the room’s flow.
Modern Surfaces: Replacing dated countertops with a sleek, contemporary alternative.
Detail Work: Updating hardware to tie the “clean and simple” aesthetic together.

While every renovation comes with its unique hurdles, our team navigated the technical challenges to deliver a fabulous result. Naomi particularly loved the single furniture-piece island, which serves as a stunning focal point. She also really liked the deep, moody tones of the Satin Charlestown Cambria countertops, which provide a sophisticated contrast against the rest of the kitchen, proving that “simple” can still be incredibly “bold.”

The best part of this project? The client herself! Her energy and contagious smile made the design process a joy for Naomi and the entire team. We are so grateful for the opportunity to help her settle into her new home, and we hope she enjoys this beautiful, refreshed kitchen for many years to come.
