Minneapolis Kitchen Remodel

Project Feature: Timeless Minneapolis Kitchen Remodel

The owner of this small Mediterranean-inspired stucco home wanted to refresh their kitchen. Originally built in the 30s, the existing space featured a lot of white: white-painted stock cabinetry, white walls, and a white laminate counter. It also lacked some much-needed storage. The client’s goal was to warm up the space with a timeless look that matched the character of his Minneapolis home.

We have to say this remodel is a huge success! Our designer Cristine worked closely with the homeowner to create a functional, cohesive space. The newly remodeled kitchen enhances the home’s natural charm while complementing the rest of the house. We love the mix of shaker-style doors with a more traditional undercabinet and crown moldings. The router details and egg and dart insert add an element of sophistication that ties in beautifully with the existing crown molding without being overwhelming.

Working with the homeowner on this project was a wonderful experience! He had a lot of fantastic ideas while remaining open to suggestions on how to make the most of the small space. Want a closer look at this gorgeous kitchen remodel? Scroll below to see photos of the completed project!
