Shakopee Kitchen Remodel - AFTER

Real Home Feature: Shakopee Kitchen Remodel — From Boring to Dramatic  |  Shakopee Kitchen Remodels, Cabinets, Countertops

Aument_Quote_Sq_proofThese Shakopee homeowners were ready to remodel their kitchen and take it up a notch.  They wanted to create a more modern kitchen that fit their personal taste, with a touch of uniqueness.

The previous builder-grade oak cabinets and laminate countertop were outdated and boring, as was the look of the kitchen overall.  To simplify the remodel process and keep it more affordable, we used the same footprint (layout) of kitchen, but updated it with a contemporary look and high quality cabinetry and countertops.

The homeowners?  They LOVE it.

What went into this stunning new kitchen?

  • Cambria countertops in Summerhill, with a waterfall edge that dramatically wraps down the side of the peninsula
  • Showplace Cabinets in the Lancaster style with a full overlay, in Cherry wood with the Peppercorn Stain
  • A sleek Swanstone Granite kitchen sink

What a difference!  The contemporary new look is just the result these homeowners were hoping for.

Ready for your own kitchen remodel?  The kitchen layout of this home is extremely common in Minnesota, and upgrading your cabinetry and countertops is a great way to make a significant change without the added time, mess, and expense of tearing down walls, moving plumbing, or making other structural changes to your home.  A kitchen remodel may be within your reach!

  1. I would like to remodel my kitchen this year. There’s two options, keep with the original footprint or remove the dining room wall between the kitchen and dining room to incorporate the two rooms. I’ve been in The Cabinet Store + Culina Design before on a countertop project with a friend. Do you offer full kitchen remodels including my idea for removing a wall? Realize this would include replacing the current ceiling and floor.
