This Apple Valley kitchen remodel evolved along the way. The homeowner communicated her desires (starting with potentially refacing the cabinets), we listened and explored ideas together, and after working through cost-comparisons and options ended up creating something more amazing than what she was originally hoping for. Over six weeks we helped transform this Apple Valley kitchen into an organized, open space — beautifully featuring two colors of cabinetry.

The original room was cramped, including a kitchen table that was heavily relied upon but didn’t fit well within the space. As planning materialized, the homeowner realized that including a bigger, more functional island with extra features (and eliminating the table) was going to be worth the extra effort.

Wanting to be a hands-on participant in this remodel, the homeowner helped move the project along (and create even better value) by doing much of the prep work and painting. We were able to do a scaled-back project that put the focus on this amazing new island, now with storage and seating. A new door was added to access the deck, adding lots of functionality. The end result was a more spacious room — just what she was hoping for!
