TRADITIONAL

Traditional style takes its inspiration from the past, focusing on time-honored features. But that doesn’t have to mean dull or dreary. Traditional style is familiar and comfortable, warm and welcoming.  This beloved style thrives on balance, refined finishings, ornate accents (think cabinets with insets and curves), and a sense of order.

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary style is clean and minimalistic.  The look and vibe of this style is fun, lively, and rooted in the moment.  Though more modern, it can still be warm and cozy.  Contemporary homes are often visually filled with energy, and tend to lean toward simple accents rather than ornamentation.  A contemporary kitchen would most likely have flat-paneled cabinetry for instance, and either no knobs or sleek and simple ones.

TRANSITIONAL

Transitional style is a marriage of traditional and contemporary.  It is lively but timeless, simple yet sophisticated.  Transitional homes tend to be less formal, but still welcoming, often featuring both crisp lines and rounded profiles.  Transitional design is a harmonious combination of older and newer styles, blended to suit the homeowner’s own style.  A transitional kitchen for instance might feature cabinetry with curves and depth, but light fixtures that are more modern.
