Project Feature: Apple Valley Cabinet Re-face Kitchen Remodel

The kitchen of this beautiful Apple Valley home had dated and tired cabinets that distracted from the striking stone countertops and full-height tile backsplashes.  At the same time, the homeowners were trying to solve the problem of fitting a larger modern refrigerator into their current space, while also wanting to update cabinetry storage.

A cabinet re-face was the logical solution!  Less invasive than a full remodel, the homeowners were still able to get the look of a whole new kitchen!

We re-faced the cabinets in the main part of the kitchen with a Cherry wood, complete with an Autumn stain and Ebony glaze from Showplace Wood Products.

The cabinets around the refrigerator, where extra space was needed, were replaced with new Showplace cabinets that match the refaced areas.  Even better, roll trays were added to the base cabinets along with new dovetailed drawer boxes for lots of extra storage!  Full extension soft close drawer glides and soft close doors were added to all of the cabinets, updating them not just in looks, but in functionality.

The end result — an incredible kitchen transformation without disturbing the existing countertops or tile backsplash!  Take a peak at the before and after pictures below.
