This Apple Valley kitchen started out dark and cramped. With the help of Allrounder Home Services and the team here at The Cabinet Store + Culina Design we transformed it into a beautiful traditional space accented with unique design elements and a touch of rustic flair!
In addition to new flooring, a refinished ceiling, and fresh paint, the remodel included removing cabinets over the peninsula that were holding back light and making the room feel small. With the goal of creating something unique, we helped the homeowners select countertops and cabinetry that would give a sense of artistry to the room. The final selections include:
- An eye-catching butcher block countertop over the peninsula
- Cambria countertop in Brownhill with the basin edge for the remaining countertop space
- Showplace cabinets in Pendleton with a traditional overlay and solid wood center panel
- Maple wood for the cabinets with an Autumn Stain
- A 12” buffet built into the side wall cabinetry for decor and use as a serving area
