Shorewood Kitchen and Mudroom Makeover

The new owner of this 1986 Shorewood home knew it needed some design TLC; it felt outdated, and they wanted its style to reflect the peaceful lake setting. With a design background themself, this client had a distinct vision for their space from the start. Our brilliant designer, Carly, had the pleasure of bringing that vision to life. Carly loved their collaboration! The client was particularly fun to bounce around design ideas with – they laughed together a lot, and felt more like old friends.

To summarize their remodeling goals, the owner wanted a farmhouse-inspired aesthetic, a bright atmosphere, and a relaxed lakeside vibe. We think they absolutely hit the nail on the head! The clean white tones and sand-colored woodwork feel effortless and inviting, while the gold accents, farmhouse sink, and granite countertops are timeless classics. Carly also noted that, despite the tight space, they managed to fit in a functional kitchen island! Moving to the mudroom and adjacent bathroom, we can’t get enough of the cream-colored cabinets and stunning tile selections.
