Design Trends: White Kitchens

There is nothing more classic than a clean, white kitchen. Playing with color is always fun, but a white kitchen will never go out of style! While white kitchens may seem like an overblown trend, their crisp, minimal design style is more than just another passing fad.

White cabinets can make any space feel bigger, they brighten even the most tiny, dim, and sunlight deprived corners. Lighter kitchens also project a sense of calm and stillness, after all, cooler tones have always been naturally associated with relaxation and simplicity.

Another advantage to choosing subtle white cabinets: options. Selecting a more neutral backdrop allows you to play with pops of color and texture more through other design elements. Whether it’s textiles, artwork, backsplashes, appliances, lighting, or statement piece dish ware; the style options are endless! It’s also easier to change your room’s style throughout the seasons when you’re working with white; it’s like having a beautiful basic piece of clothing to accessorize in endless ways.

Take a look below at a few of our favorite white kitchen client projects; we think you’ll be in awe of how completely tasteful and elegant they truly look!
