She loved the look of barn wood, he wanted stone and steel, they both wanted a great space for entertaining. Their new basement now includes:

- Entertainment area / family room with built-in storage
- Charming new bathroom
- Pool entrance with a bench, storage, and a place to hang towels
To achieve the look we helped the homeowners in selecting cabinetry & accent features that would create a rustic feel, including:
- Showplace cabinetry in Rustic Alder with a Driftwood stain throughout all of the spaces
- The Pendleton W. door style on the cabinetry with a heavy vintage-distressed finish
- Countertops in the bar area that are Silestone Merope, with a custom etched glass top on the bar itself
- A Swanstone Contour vanity top in the bathroom
